The Fitting Process - An in-depth approach to find you the perfect clubs
Our approach to fitting puts a focus on not leaving any stone unturned.
1. Golf Swing Analysis - To find the right clubs, we need to take an in-depth look at your golf swing; both your consistency and your swing tendencies
- Aanalysis of your ball flight tendencies using Flightscope 3D ball tracking
- Analysis of your club delivery to the ball using Flightscope 3D ball tracking
2. Cover All 13 Key Clubfitting Specifications
o Club Length - Based partly on your wrist to floor measurement but after that, we evaluate your swing and determine the maximum length of clubcontrol while still being able to address and swing at the ball with complete comfort.
o Club Loft - Finding the correct lofts on your clubs if vital if you want to hit your irons incrementally different distances. It is also vital in order to maximise distance and consistency with your driver.

o Club Lie Angle - This has a significant effect on direction; buying clubs "off the rack" is a sure fire way to guarantee incorrect lie angles. Mechanical testing using a 6 iron has shown that if the lie angle is wrong by 2 degrees, the shot will finish 20 feet off target.
o Club Face Angle - There is no better way to reduce a slice than to fit the golfer with a more closed face angle in the driver/fairway woods. For more severe slices, the golfer can be fit with a driver head with both a closed face and an offset hosel design.
At a carry distance of 200 yards, each one degree more closed the face angle is than the golfer’s current face angle represents a reduction in the slice of about 4 to 5 yards.
o Total Weight - All golfers have a different level of strength and as a result will require a different total club weight in order to maximise clubhead speed and consistency

o Swing Weight - It is an expression that attempts to describe the ratio of the amount of weight in the bottom 2/3’s to the weight in the upper 1/3 of a golf club. Every golfer needs to have their clubs swing weighted to match their individual strength, swing tempo, timing and rhythm
o Grip Size - Grip size can have a big effect on how you grip the club. Your grip is the primary factor that controls the direction of your shots and therefore it is vital that you
o Grip Style - Which grip style suits you best? A corded grip a tour velvet grip or a softer grip?
o Shaft Weight - The choice of the shaft weight depends on your physical strength and aggressiveness of your downswing move.downswing transition + fast downswing tempo = heaver
o Shaft Flex - There are no industry standards on shaft flex - for example a Taylormade regular flex will not be the same as a Titleist regular flex! It is therefore important to check the club accelleration profile on our Flightscope ball and club tracking radar to check if the shaft is correct for your swing
o Shaft Bend Profile - This is the distribution of stiffness over the length of the shaft – It is vital that we look at how you unhinge your wrists in the downswing before deciding on which bend profile suits you best.

Set Makeup – there are many different permutations of which clubs you should carry. The important things to consider are that you are comfortable using all the clubs and they all go different distances. Our Flightscope ball and club tracking device will help us to clearly see any club gapping issues
