A golf club's loft and lie angles can move over time
when was the last time you checked yours?

Picture
The loft and lie are the two key angles on the golf club:

Loft - Any change is loft can lead to two clubs, for example a six iron and a seven iron travelling the same distance! This can leave a massive distance gap in your golf bag

Lie Angle - This have a significant effect on shot direction. Mechanical testing using a 6 iron has shown that if the lie angle is wrong by 2 degrees, the shot will finish 20 feet off target.

Grips

We will also check your grips for wear:

As a rule of thumb, you should re-grip once every year. Regardless of whether you play golf every day or only twice a year, ozone, heat, dirt, and oils are constantly at work breaking down the materials that make up your grips.

Granted, frequent play and personal preference may dictate re-gripping sooner, but normally there's enough degradation of the material after a year to warrant fresh grips.
